An exciting opportunity is available for a committed and enthusiastic Maths Teacher to join a well-established secondary school in Trafford, Manchester from September 2026. You will be joining a supportive and collaborative Mathematics department that values strong subject knowledge, innovative teaching, and high expectations for all learners.

Salary: Matched to your level on the Teacher Pay Scale (MPS/UPS)

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
Create a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Differentiate teaching to support a wide range of abilities
Contribute to departmental planning and school-wide initiatives
Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree or specialism in Mathematics or a related subject
Experience teaching Maths at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills
A commitment to raising attainment and supporting pupil progress
The ability to commute to or be based in Trafford, Manchester
