Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver engaging IT and Computing lessons in line with the national curriculum
Teach a range of topics, including digital literacy, programming, and computer science fundamentals
Assess, monitor, and track pupil progress effectively
Maintain a positive and well-managed classroom environment
Contribute to departmental development and whole-school initiatives
Uphold safeguarding, behaviour, and school policies
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
A degree or specialism in IT, Computing, or a related subject
Experience teaching IT/Computing at secondary level (ECTs welcome to apply)
Strong subject knowledge, including programming and digital systems
Effective classroom management and organisational skills
A commitment to pupil progress and high educational standards
The ability to commute to or be based in Trafford, Manchester
