Teachwise is currently looking for an experienced computing teacher for a mainstream secondary academy based within the Manchester area.
The role will involve teaching Computing at both KS3 & KS4 and previous experience teaching at both levels is required.
The position is due to begin on 01/09/2026 and will continue on a full-time basis, 5 days per week until the end of the academic year.
Key Requirements:
* Ability to teach Computing up to KS4
* A passion for the subject
* Deliver pupil progress
* Ability to raise standards throughout
* Create and deliver diverse and engaging lessons
* Excellent communication skills
* Good behaviour management strategies
* Hold right to work in the UK
* Have an enhanced DBS certificate on the update service
* Hold PGCE with QTS or equivalent
