For our customer in the Brussels area (2 days office work per week), we are looking for an IT Test Automation Engineer, you ensure the quality of software applications by designing, automating, and executing test strategies. You work closely with developers and business stakeholders throughout the development life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and review test plans and test cases
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts
• Identify and implement automation opportunities
• Execute tests, analyze results, and report defects
• Support UAT and collaborate with business teams
• Continuously improve testing processes and tools

Required Skills

Must Have

• IT Testing (3+ years)
• ISTQB
• API Testing (REST, SOAP)
• SQL, XML, HTML
• Test automation tools
• Basic Java & GIT
• CI/CD (eg Bitbucket)
• English, Dutch or French

Nice to Have

• Robot Framework
• ReadyAPI
• Jira/Test Management tools
• Insurance sector experience
