Nursery Manager – Full Time- Northfeld

Hours: 40 hours per week, full time

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and caring Nursery Manager to lead our nursery team and support the delivery of high-quality early years education and childcare. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident leader who is passionate about creating a safe, welcoming and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow and thrive.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery.

* Ensure children receive excellent standards of care, learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.

* Support, motivate and develop the nursery team through supervision, coaching and training.

* Maintain safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards across the setting.

* Build positive relationships with children, parents, carers and external professionals.

* Manage staff rotas, ratios, occupancy and nursery resources effectively.

* Prepare for inspections and ensure policies and procedures are followed consistently.

* Promote a warm, inclusive and stimulating environment for all children.

The Ideal Candidate

* Has a recognised Level 3 childcare qualification or above.

* Has previous experience in a nursery leadership or management role.

* Has a strong understanding of safeguarding, child development and the EYFS.

* Is confident leading a team and supporting staff development.

* Has excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.

* Is committed to providing high-quality care and education for every child.
