We are seeking motivated and reliable Assembly Team Members to join our client in Birmingham (B6 7). This is an exciting opportunity to work within a high-quality manufacturing environment, supporting key stages of the production process.
You will play a vital role in maintaining quality standards, driving continuous improvement, and ensuring a clean and safe working environment.
Responsibilities
You will work across multiple areas of production, including:
Prep
Preparing raw components for production
Cleaning, deburring, and handling materials
Ensuring components meet pre-assembly standards
Machining / Honing
Precision finishing of internal bores
Working to tight tolerances
Contributing directly to final component performance
Manifold
Working on valve housing blocks
Handling drilled channels controlling hydraulic flow
Understanding flow requirements and precision needs
Valve Assembly
Assembling small precision components
Working with springs, seals, and cartridges
Ensuring correct build sequence and high-quality standards
Hours
Fixed shifts, either: -
Morning Shift:
Monday–Thursday: 05:00 – 13:00
Friday: 05:00 – 12:00
Afternoon Shift:
Monday–Thursday: 13:00 – 21:00
Friday: 12:00 – 20:00
Pay
Base Rate: £12.84 per hour
Shift Allowance: +20% for applicable hours
Enhanced Rate: £15.41 per hour (with shift premium)
Overtime Rates:
Midweek: £19.26 per hour
Weekend: £25.68 per hour
