An established and progressive arable farming business in Lincolnshire is seeking a Trainee Farm Manager to join its team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their agricultural career and develop towards a future farm management position.
Working alongside an experienced Farm Manager, you will gain hands-on experience across all aspects of a modern farming operation, gradually taking on greater responsibility as your skills and confidence grow.
The Business
The farm business operates approximately 1000 hectares and grows a range of combinable crops and sugar beet. The business is committed to innovation, precision agriculture and continuous improvement, while also developing complementary non-farming enterprises that make use of existing infrastructure and services.
Key Responsibilities
Support the day-to-day management of farm operations
Assist with team coordination and supervision
Help with logistics, scheduling and operational planning
Contribute to crop production and husbandry activities
Monitor crop performance and support agronomic plans
Promote high standards of health, safety and compliance
Assist in improving operational efficiency through the use of technology and dataWhat's on Offer?

Practical farming experience

The ability to take responsibility and make sound decisions
