The practice specialises in bespoke private residential projects, including one-off new-build homes, extensive renovations, and carefully considered extensions to character properties. With a collaborative and supportive studio culture, this is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Architect looking to take ownership of projects and client relationships while progressing their career within a growing practice committed to design excellence.

Project Architect Job Overview
Lead and manage high-end residential projects through all RIBA work stages, from concept design through to completion
Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a key point of contact throughout project delivery
Produce high-quality design, planning, tender and construction drawing packages
Coordinate consultants, contractors and wider project teams to ensure successful project outcomes
Attend and lead client meetings, design reviews and site visits
Provide technical guidance and resolve design and construction-related queries
Contribute to the continued growth and development of the practice
Champion sustainable and environmentally responsible design principles throughout projects
Support and mentor junior team members where appropriate
Project Architect Job Requirements
ARB-registered Architect with a minimum of 3 years' post-qualification experience
Strong experience delivering high-end UK private residential projects
Proven ability to manage projects independently through all RIBA stages
Strong design and technical capability, with excellent attention to detail
Confident managing client relationships with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
Driven, committed and motivated to develop into a key role within the practice
Collaborative and supportive approach to working within a close-knit team
Genuine interest in sustainability, with Passivhaus knowledge or experience highly desirable
Proficiency in Vectorworks preferred
3D modelling and visualisation skills beneficial
Experience or interest in AI-led visualisation tools advantageous
Excellent organisational and project management skills
Ideally located within a 45-minute commute of the office
Full UK driving licence beneficial for site visits
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £40,000 - £55,000 (DOE)
