Our client is looking for an experienced CNC Operator to join their growing team in Andover.
Working:
Monday - Thursday: 8AM - 5PM
Friday: 8AM - 2:30PM
Salary: £15 - £18 Per Hour (Overtime available)
Responsibilities:
* Program, set and operate CNC machines.
* Produce high quality machined parts in accordance with work instructions and drawings.
* Maintain a clean and safe working area, ensuring that all Health & Safety procedures are followed.
* Work as part of the team to support colleagues as well as the needs of the business, with a focus on continual improvements.
Requirements:
* Strong mechanical knowledge and an understanding of CNC turning processes.
* Understanding of FANUC controllers and their functions in CNC 2 axis lathes.
* Strong maths and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to read technical drawings and work specifications/instructions.
* Ability to effectively use hand tools for machine setup and maintenance.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic, with the ability to work to set procedures.
* Excellent time management skills to work effectively to tight deadlines.
* Keen eye for detail and quality mindset.
