Fleet Diagnostic Technician Opportunity, Based in Wimbledon
Our client is seeking a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician for their fleet workshop in Wimbledon. This is a diagnostic-focused role within a busy, professional team, working on a varied mix of diesel and petrol vehicles, including cars and vans. You will follow systematic fault-finding to deliver accurate, timely repairs, with a stable Monday to Friday schedule (8.30am to 6.00pm) and optional Saturday overtime available at time and a half.
Benefits for the Successful Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
Basic salary £38,000 to £45,000 (dependent on experience)
Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6.00pm
Optional Saturdays available, overtime paid at time and a half
20 days’ holiday plus bank holidays
Modern workshop environment with a dedicated individual ramp
Fleet variety across diesel and petrol vehicles, including cars and vansDuties:
Diagnose faults accurately using diagnostic equipment and systematic testing
Repair and rectify issues across diesel and petrol vehicles
Maintain high standards of workmanship and attention to detail
Support efficient turnaround times for fleet vehicles
Record diagnostic findings and repair work accurately
Work effectively in a busy workshop while prioritising qualityThe Requirements for the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Role:
Experience as a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician within a similar role
Strong diagnostic skills across diesel and petrol vehicles
Proven ability to identify faults and carry out effective repairs
Current, relevant automotive qualifications
Professional attitude and willingness to assist with optional Saturday overtime when required
