PCB Inspector
Monday to Friday + Plus Benefits - Hertfordshire
We are recruiting for an experienced Senior Inspector / Inspector to join a growing manufacturing business.
This is a hands-on quality role responsible for final inspection, product release, traceability, defect escalation and supporting continuous improvement activities. Working closely with Production, SMT, Test and Engineering teams, you will ensure products meet customer requirements and recognised workmanship standards before shipment.
Key Responsibilities as a PCB Inspector
Final inspection of PCB assemblies, box builds and finished products.
Verify workmanship to IPC standards and customer requirements.
Review drawings, work instructions and production documentation.
Maintain traceability and accurate inspection records.
Identify, record and escalate defects and non-conformities.
Support root cause investigations and continuous improvement initiatives.
Stop or quarantine product where quality requirements are not met.
Essential Requirements as a PCB Inspector
Experience within electronics, aerospace, defence, medical or other regulated manufacturing environments.
Current or recent IPC-A-610 certification.
Strong understanding of PCB assembly and electronic workmanship standards.
Ability to read engineering drawings and manufacturing documentation.
