Are you a qualified and passionate Business Studies and Economics Teacher looking for your next opportunity? Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a welcoming and ambitious secondary school in Hemel Hempstead from September 2026.

This is a fantastic full-time position with full teaching responsibilities, offering the opportunity to teach motivated students across Key Stages 4 and 5. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering high-quality Business Studies and Economics lessons, inspiring students and supporting them to achieve their full potential.

About the Role

As a Business Studies and Economics Teacher, you will:

Deliver engaging and challenging Business Studies and Economics lessons across KS4 and KS5.
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons in line with departmental schemes of work and curriculum objectives.
Take full responsibility for planning, marking, assessment and reporting.
Monitor and track student progress, providing clear and constructive feedback to support achievement.
Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-Level examinations.
Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating learning environment that promotes high expectations.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and departmental initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential.
A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching within a secondary school setting.
Ability to teach Business Studies and Economics to KS5 is essential.
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for inspiring young people.
Experience delivering GCSE and A-Level Business Studies and Economics is desirable.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A collaborative, adaptable and proactive approach to teaching.
Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
