SEN Teaching Assistant

Location: Outskirts of Preston (PR3 area) – On-site parking available

Salary: From £108.50 per day

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm (Full-Time)

Contract: Long-Term

A specialist SEN school on the outskirts of Preston (PR3) is seeking a resilient and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs.

*

Utilize positive strategies to manage and support diverse behavior needs.

*

Assist the class teacher in delivering adapted, sensory-focused activities.

Requirements:

*

Experience: Strong understanding or prior experience supporting children with additional learning or behavioral needs (e.g., ASD, ADHD, SEMH).

*

Attributes: Patient, adaptable, calm under pressure, and passionate about SEN.

*

Logistics: Reliable transport to commute to the PR3 area.
