Full-Time
We are currently looking for experienced Quality Inspectors for our client who are a leading precision engineering business in East Ayrshire where you'll support quality assurance across the production process.

Key Responsibilities

· Conduct first-off, in-process and final inspections

· Use a range of measuring equipment (micrometers, verniers, height gauges, bore gauges, CMM)

· Interpret engineering drawings and tolerances (GD&T)

· Record inspection results and manage non-conformances

· Work closely with production to resolve quality issues

· Maintain accurate inspection documentation and traceability

· Support continuous improvement activities

Requirements

· Experience in precision engineering/manufacturing

· Strong inspection and measurement skills

· Ability to read technical drawings and understand GD&T

· Experience working to ISO 9001 / AS9100 standards

· Good attention to detail and communication skills

· CMM experience (operation/programming)

Desirable

· Engineering qualification (NVQ / HNC)

· Experience with CMM software (PC-DMIS, MCOSMOS)

· Lean / Six Sigma awareness
