Salary: £32,000 + Benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
An established engineering and manufacturing business in Poole is seeking an experienced Quality Inspector to join its growing Quality team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in precision inspection, metrology, and quality control within a manufacturing environment.
Quality Inspector - Key Responsibilities
Conduct goods inward and final inspection activities.
Inspect components against engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Operate a range of inspection equipment including micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and indicators.
Create and maintain CMM inspection programmes.
Complete inspection reports, NCRs, and quality documentation.
Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
Assist with PPAP, FAIR, and ISIR documentation.
Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams to ensure product conformity.
Quality Inspector - About You
Previous experience as a Quality Inspector, Quality Technician, or similar role.
Strong understanding of metrology and dimensional inspection.
Experience using CMM equipment and inspection software.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Engineering qualification or apprenticeship desirable.
