Role 1: Special Needs Teacher (KS2 ARP)
A lovely one-form entry primary school in a lovely, residential area of Barnet is seeking an experienced Special Needs Teacher to work within their KS2 Additional Resource Provision (ARP).
This role involves teaching children with Autism and ADHD in a highly supportive environment.
Key aspects of the role:
Teaching a KS2 class of around 12 students, within the school's ARP provision.
Supporting pupils with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and ADHD.
Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons tailored to individual needs.
Working alongside two permanent and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants.
Collaborating with the SENCO, leadership team, therapists, and external agencies where required.
Creating a nurturing and structured learning environment that enables pupils to thrive academically and socially.
Monitoring progress and maintaining high expectations for pupil outcomes.
Essential requirements:
Previous experience working with SEN pupils in an ARP, SEN Unit, or SEN school.
Strong understanding of Autism and ADHD.
Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet a range of learning needs.
Passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable learners.Salary: Paid to scale.
