We are currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive school in Croydon for an experienced and dedicated SENCO to join their leadership team from September 2026.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate SEND professional to make a significant impact on the educational outcomes and wellbeing of pupils with additional needs.

The Role

The successful candidate will:

* Lead and manage the school's SEND provision.

* Ensure compliance with the SEND Code of Practice and relevant statutory requirements.

* Coordinate effective support and interventions for pupils with SEND.

* Work closely with teaching staff, parents, external agencies, and senior leaders.

* Monitor pupil progress and ensure appropriate support plans are implemented and reviewed.

* Promote inclusive teaching practices across the school.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must:

* Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).

* Hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCO) or equivalent mandatory SENCO qualification.

* Have previous experience working as a SENCO or within a SEND leadership role.

* Demonstrate excellent knowledge of current SEND legislation and best practice.

* Possess strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.

* Be committed to achieving positive outcomes for all learners.
