Our client, a leading aerospace engineering firm based in Rochester, are looking to recruit Production Operatives to assist in the manufacturing, assembly and testing of their products.
As a Production Operative in the Wax Assembly department main duties will include:
* Assembly of wax moulds and wax runner systems
* Use of machinery and hand tools
* Handling delicate runner wax and soluble wax
* Attaching riser system to the wax moulds
* Quality checking products
* Reporting any issues with production machinery to team leaders
* Ensuring the work area is clean and tidy
The ideal production operative will have:
* Experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
* A light touch as you are handling delicate materials
* A good work ethic, strong attention to detail and excellent time keeping skills.
* You must be physically fit as the role may involve periods of standing and some manual lifting.
* Safety boots will be required, all other PPE provided
* Driving licence and access to a vehicle to reach the site for 6am
Hours of Work
Monday-Thursday 06:00am-4.30pm and Friday 06:00am-2.30pm. 48 hours a week
This role is temp to perm, with a 4-week period of temporary working before moving over to a permanent contract.
Weekly pay (PAYE) plus holiday pay for the first 4 weeks, movign to monthlly pay when permanent.
