Assembly Operative – Manufacturing
Location: Milton Keynes
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm/5:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent
We are currently recruiting for an Assembly Operative to join a busy manufacturing company in Milton Keynes. The company specialises in the production of high-quality protective barriers and safety products for a range of industries.
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and would suit candidates who are physically fit, reliable, and experienced in using hand tools.
Key Responsibilities
* Assembling protective barriers and related products according to specifications.
* Using hand tools such as drills, screwdrivers, and other assembly equipment.
* Reading and following basic assembly instructions and drawings.
* Conducting quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
* Handling and moving materials safely around the production area.
* Maintaining a clean and organised work environment.
* Following all health and safety procedures.
Candidate Requirements
* Previous experience in an assembly, manufacturing, or production environment.
* Confident using hand tools, including drills and similar equipment.
* Good practical skills and attention to detail.
* Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks.
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
