Tennial Personnel are recruiting Production & Assembly Operatives to join a sports equipment manufacturing business based in Clopton, Suffolk. This is a temporary-to-permanent role, with the potential for a permanent contract following a successful 12-week probation period.

This is a hands-on role supporting the production of golf mats, machine assembly, basic maintenance, and general production duties. The successful candidate will be reliable, practical, and willing to work across a variety of tasks to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday, 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM. Friday, 7:45 AM - 4 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacture and assemble golf mats in line with production specifications

Assist with machine assembly, setup, and basic maintenance tasks

Operate production machinery safely and efficiently

Carry out quality checks to ensure products meet required standards

Follow supervisor instructions and contribute to achieving daily production targets

Support general production duties, including material handling and stock movement

Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment

Report machinery faults, quality issues, or safety concerns promptly

Undertake ad-hoc tasks as required to support production and operations

Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production goals

Skills Required

Practical, hands-on approach with strong attention to detail

Ability to follow instructions and work methodically

Willingness to learn machine operation, assembly, and basic maintenance

Able to work independently and as part of a team

Reliable, punctual, and flexible

Physically capable of manual handling and standing for extended periods

Qualifications Required
Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembly, or maintenance environments is desirable but not essential

No formal qualifications required – full training will be provided

Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to support across tasks are essential
