Are you an experienced Transport Planner with strong Paragon experience looking for your next challenge in a busy, high-performing transport operation?
We're recruiting for a fast-paced distribution business in Slough seeking a confident and organised Transport Planner to join a high-volume transport team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who thrives under pressure, enjoys solving operational challenges, and has experience managing complex route planning within demanding logistics environments.
You'll play a key role in ensuring efficient fleet utilisation, cost-effective route planning, and exceptional service delivery across a large-scale operation.
The Role
Plan and optimise routes using Paragon routing software
Manage daily transport planning for a high-volume fleet operation
Maximise vehicle utilisation while maintaining service levels
Communicate effectively with drivers, warehouses, and operational teams
Monitor route performance, KPIs, and planning efficiencies
React quickly to operational changes and resolve planning issues proactively
Support continuous improvement across transport operations
Ensure compliance with transport regulations and operational procedures
About You
Proven experience as a Transport Planner within a busy logistics or distribution environment
Strong working knowledge of Paragon is essential
Experience planning within high-volume, fast-paced operations
Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Transport compliance knowledge beneficial
