Job Overview:
* We are recruiting for Early Years Practitioners to join the Children's Centres team.
* You will provide education, care, and supervision for children in an early years setting, preparing and delivering early learning activities to ensure children's developmental needs are met.
Responsibilities:
* Contribute to daily operations including curriculum delivery, safeguarding, health and safety, and record keeping.
* Provide full care and supervision for children, working with primary school staff to deliver integrated care and education.
* Implement operational policies in line with OFSTED standards.
* Promote high standards of behaviour and uphold equalities and inclusion policies.
* Work in partnership with multi-agency teams including network childminders.
* Attend planning and staff meetings.
* Support marketing and community engagement with parents and local schools.
Requirements:
* Level 3 qualification in early years practice (or equivalent).
* Experience of working with children in an early years environment.
* Knowledge of current early years principles, practice, and legislation including safeguarding.
* Commitment to equal opportunities.
* Ability to work flexibly including evenings, breakfast times, and occasional weekends.
* Physical fitness for early years tasks including lifting and carrying.
* Strong organisational, communication, and record-keeping skills.
* Evidence of continuous professional development.
