A wonderful primary school is offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced and passionate teacher to enhance and develop SEND provision across the school.

The successful candidate will play a key role in improving the teaching and learning of children with SEND, ensuring that pupils receive the support, challenge and encouragement they need to achieve their very best. You will work closely with the SEND team, school leaders, staff, parents and carers to strengthen provision and ensure that every child is able to thrive.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting and improving the teaching of children with SEND
Teaching small groups of SEND pupils
Working closely with the SEND team to ensure high-quality provision
Supporting staff to meet the needs of pupils with SEND
Building strong relationships with parents, carers and the wider community
Promoting high expectations of achievement, behaviour and inclusion
Contributing to the continued development of SEND practice across the school

Be inspired and able to inspire children, staff, parents and other stakeholders
Be committed to the principles of equality, inclusion and diversity, particularly in relation to SEND
Be a highly enthusiastic and dedicated practitioner
Demonstrate consistently good or outstanding teaching over time
Have high expectations of pupil achievement and behaviour
Be committed to fostering excellent relationships with parents, carers and the community
Be passionate about supporting children with additional needs to succeed

Visits to the School

We warmly encourage that any one who is interested, can be registered for a trial day, should they be shortlisted.
