We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and highly organised SENCo and Assistant SENCo to join our thriving all-boys secondary school in the B8 area of Birmingham. The Role

SENCo Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage the provision for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

* Oversee EHCPs, intervention programmes, and statutory processes

* Work closely with teaching staff, external agencies, and parents/carers

* Support staff in delivering high-quality inclusive teaching strategies

* Ensure compliance with SEND legislation and school policies

* Track progress and outcomes for SEND students across the school

Assistant SENCo Responsibilities:

* Support the SENCo in the day-to-day coordination of SEND provision

* Assist with interventions, assessments, and student reviews

* Liaise with teachers, parents, and support staff

* Help maintain accurate SEND records and documentation

* Deliver targeted support to students where required

* Contribute to inclusive classroom practices across departments

We Are Looking For:

* Qualified teachers with a passion for inclusive education

* Experience working with SEND students in a secondary school setting

* Strong communication and organisational skills

* A proactive, compassionate, and resilient approach

* NASENCo qualification (essential/desirable for SENCo role depending on experience)

* Commitment to safeguarding and promoting student wellbeing
