Aspire People are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated SENDCo / Assistant Headteacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking school in the B16 area starting September 2026.

This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a passionate education professional with a strong commitment to inclusion, pupil progress, and high-quality SEND provision.

The Role
Lead and manage SEND provision across the school
Support the strategic leadership team as Assistant Headteacher
Ensure pupils with additional needs receive outstanding support
Work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies
Monitor progress, interventions, and EHCP provision
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
SENDCo qualification or relevant leadership experience
Proven experience supporting pupils with SEND
Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Passion for inclusive education and pupil achievement
