We are seeking a highly skilled Solderer for an ongoing contract in Berkshire. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the production of various types of cables.
Key Responsibilities

Soldering Socapex connectors (18?way, cable sizes up to 2.5?mm²) to a high and repeatable standard
Preparing, stripping, tinning, and terminating cables accurately and efficiently
Working from wiring diagrams, build sheets, and workshop instructions
Maintaining clean, neat, and reliable solder joints suitable for professional power distribution equipment
Conducting basic continuity and quality checks on completed assemblies
Managing your own workflow to meet daily and weekly output targets
Keeping your workstation organised, safe, and production?ready
Collaborating with the workshop team to ensure smooth production flowEssential Skills & Experience

Proven track record of fast, accurate soldering - this is non?negotiable
Experience soldering multi?pin connectors (Socapex experience highly preferred)
Basic knowledge of power and electrical principles (e.g., cable ratings, polarity, safe handling)
Ability to follow technical drawings and wiring documentation
Consistency: able to produce the same high standard repeatedly, not just occasionally
Reliability and pride in workmanship
Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday, 8.30am to 5pm, and Friday 7.45am to 4pm
