Cnc Turner (Afternoons)

Are you an experienced CNC Turner looking for a permanent opportunity within a busy and fast-paced engineering environment?

We are currently recruiting for skilled CNC Turners to join a well-established manufacturing business in Nottingham. This role would suit someone with experience operating and programming CNC turning machines who takes pride in producing high-quality precision components.

The Role

* Operate and programme CNC turning machines

* Manufacture precision engineered components to customer specifications

* Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical information

* Carry out machine adjustments and tooling changes where required

* Inspect finished components to ensure quality standards and tolerances are met

* Work efficiently to production deadlines within a fast-paced environment

* Maintain high housekeeping and health & safety standards

* Work collaboratively with production and engineering teams

What We Are Looking For

* Previous experience operating and programming CNC turning machines

* Must be able to work a permanent afternoon shift

* Strong understanding of precision machining

* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings

* Good attention to detail and quality standards

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Strong understanding of health & safety within manufacturing

Package

* £16.50 - £18.50 per hour dependent on experience

* Monday – Thursday shift pattern

* Working hours: 3:45pm – 1:45am

* 24 days annual leave plus bank holidays

* Overtime available paid at enhanced rates:(1.3x weekdays, 1.5x weekends)
