An NHS organisation in Somerset is looking to appoint an experienced Estates Officer (Mechanical) to join its Estates & Facilities team in a key leadership role supporting critical healthcare infrastructure.
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically qualified estates professional with experience managing complex building services in a highly regulated environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing maintenance, installation, and compliance of mechanical systems
* Overseeing HVAC, steam boilers, water treatment, and associated plant
* Acting as Authorised Person for critical mechanical services
* Supporting capital projects and infrastructure upgrades
* Ensuring compliance with HTMs and statutory regulations
* Leading on safety, governance, and technical assurance
Requirements:
* HNC/HND or Degree in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Strong experience within estates/building services maintenance
* Knowledge of CAFM and BMS systems
* Leadership or supervisory experience
* Healthcare/NHS experience advantageous
