Graduate Architectural Technologist | Sheffield | £25,000 +
Are you an Architectural Technologist in the early stages of your career, looking for a role where your development is taken seriously from day one?
We're working with a well-established, multi-disciplinary construction and property consultancy based in Sheffield. Founded over two decades ago, the practice brings together building surveyors, architects, project managers and designers under one roof, delivering technically ambitious projects across a wide range of sectors. They hold RICS, RIBA and CIOB accreditation, and their design team is led by a Chartered Architect with 20 years of private practice experience.
This is a genuine graduate opportunity, with structured support toward CIAT chartership built into the role from the outset.
The Role
You'll be joining a collaborative design team and getting involved in real projects from the start. As you develop, you can expect to take on increasing responsibility across technical drawing production, building regulations, and design coordination. The practice works across multiple sectors, so your exposure will be broad.
Day-to-day, you'll be involved in:
* Producing technical drawings and construction documentation
* Supporting design development from concept through to completion
* Working within building regulations and relevant technical standards
* Collaborating with surveyors, project managers and external consultants
* Contributing to BIM and CAD workflows
What They're Looking for
* A degree or HND/HNC in Architectural Technology or a related discipline
* Up to 2 years' experience in an architectural or construction practice (including placement years)
* Working knowledge of AutoCAD and/or Revit
* Genuine interest in technical design and the built environment
* Someone who wants to build a long-term career, not just fill a seat
What's on Offer
* Salary of £25,000 + depending on experience
* Structured CIAT chartership support
* Mentorship from experienced, chartered professionals
* Exposure to a genuinely varied project portfolio
* A practice that's committed to professional development at every level
Location: Sheffield, South Yorkshire
