The Role
As a Workshop Engineer, you will be responsible for the service, maintenance, and overhaul of a wide range of industrial pumps and associated equipment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with strong mechanical knowledge and a keen eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities
Strip, inspect, and rebuild a variety of industrial pumps (centrifugal, gear, etc.)
Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently
Replace components such as bearings, seals, and shafts
Carry out pressure testing and performance checks
Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and in line with health & safety
Maintain accurate service and inspection recordsRequirements
Proven experience working with industrial pumps in a workshop environment
Strong mechanical engineering background
Experience with fault finding and equipment rebuilds
Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
Familiarity with rotating equipment (desirable)
Self-motivated and able to work independently or as part of a teamWhat's on Offer
