Mechanical Assembler (Soldering Experience)

Location: Stroud

Shift: Day Shift

Contract: Permanent | Full-Time

Salary: Up to £27,000 DOE

Are you an experienced Mechanical Assembler with soldering experience looking to join a well-established engineering company offering long-term stability and career development?

Do you have strong mechanical assembly skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience working within a precision engineering or manufacturing environment?

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Assembler to join a growing company working with high-specification engineering components within a quality-focused environment.

The successful Mechanical Assembler will support a variety of assembly and production tasks, with soldering experience being a key requirement for this role.

Role Responsibilities

Carrying out mechanical assembly of precision engineered components

Completing soldering work to a high standard

Using hand tools and assembly equipment safely and effectively

Reading and following engineering drawings and work instructions

Inspecting completed assemblies to ensure quality standards are met

Supporting different areas of production as required

Maintaining a clean and organised working environment
The Person

Minimum 3 years’ experience within a mechanical assembly environment

Previous soldering experience is essential

Strong attention to detail and good manual dexterity

Flexible and willing to support a variety of production tasks

Able to work accurately within a quality-driven manufacturing environment

Reliable, motivated and a strong team player
