Sales Executive
Location: Southampton
Hours: Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 5:30pm (1 hour lunch)
Every other Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm (reducing with growth)
Salary: Competitive (dependent on relevant industry experience)

The Opportunity
We’re looking for a confident, customer-focused Sales Executive to join a thriving and busy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from a similar industry background who enjoys building relationships, driving sales, and delivering a first-class customer experience.

This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll be at the heart of the operation, supporting customers over the phone and face-to-face, managing orders and playing a key role in business growth.

What you’ll be doing as the Sales Executive:

Preparing quotes and processing customer orders accurately and efficiently
Picking and managing orders through to completion
Handling customer queries, returns, and resolving issues promptly
Building strong relationships with existing clients and maintaining repeat business
Identifying and developing new sales opportunities within your customer base
Supporting trade counter sales and delivering excellent face-to-face service
Managing inbound and outbound sales calls
Collaborating with the wider team to achieve sales and service targets
What we’re looking for:

Previous experience in a similar industry or sales environment is essential
Confident communicator, both over the phone and in person
A proactive, sales-driven mindset with a passion for customer service
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team
Good IT skills with the ability to manage orders and customer data
