Job Title: RN Manager - Med/Surg Women's
Location: Tallahassee, FL
Shift: 12 HR Days ( 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM )
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Salary Range: $92,000 - $108,000
Job Overview:
The Manager of Med-Surg Women's is responsible for overseeing patient care within the Women's Medical-Surgical Department. You will provide leadership, ensure quality patient care, and guide the team in collaboration with the Acute Care Director. The role also involves budget management, quality improvement initiatives, and anticipating the department's needs to enhance patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the Med-Surg Women's unit, ensuring quality care is provided.
Analyze patient care delivery and implement process improvements.
Collaborate with the Acute Care Director on budgetary needs, staffing, and future departmental planning.
Lead and mentor nursing staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices for patient care.
Actively participate in staff development and performance evaluations.
Oversee quality improvement initiatives, with a focus on patient safety and satisfaction.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3-5+ years of acute care RN experience required.
At least 1-2+ years of acute care experience in nursing leadership, such as Manager, Supervisor, or Assistant Nurse Manager.
Strong Charge RN experience considered, but must have consistent leadership experience.
Associates Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (BSN preferred).
Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license preferred.
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
