The OPP Operations Coordinator provides a broad range of administrative support to the OPP department. This position supports OPP department faculty with presentations and AV support, is responsible for managing the distribution of student materials, coordinates student exams and assignments, enters student information and results into appropriate ICOM data systems, and manages the OPP department schedule.
Provides administrative support for the OPP department, managing a broad range of administrative tasks and resolving problems and inquiries.
Using questions provided by faculty, prepares and monitors exams and quizzes. Enters questions into ICOM’s exam software, currently ExamSoft and Learning Space, and creates key words for curriculum mapping.
Receives students’ written homework “test questions” with answers and distributes to OPP faculty for review and grading.
Enters grades into ICOM’s learning management system for student exams, practicals, quizzes and weekly assignments.
Posts and manages course materials, including videos and lecture materials, from faculty and uploads into ICOM’s learning management system, as needed.
Works with faculty to create and build rubrics for grading student practical exams.
Organizes and distributes schedules for OPP practical exams.
Coordinates practical exam days, including room set up, signage, coordinating proctors and communicating with adjunct faculty.
Runs the OPP AV/camera system for weekly labs and films OPP videos for student materials. Determines appropriate angles for video and responds to faculty requests.
Edits videos, posts and manages videos for students in video management system, currently Panopto.
Point of contact for outward facing OMT Video Library. Assists with subscriptions and enrollment and serves as the liaison between hosting platform and OPP faculty.
Provides technical support to faculty in the development of materials and AV system during labs.
Organizes OPP department schedules, meetings and events. Organizes and manages student clinics and outreach.
Work with Independent Contractors for course delivery
Acts as a liaison for the OPP department and other ICOM departments or outside individuals and/or entities.

Requirements
Minimum 2 years experience working with databases, education systems preferred
Previous experience in higher education is preferred
Prefer experience working with student databases
