Job Description

Scientist Group Lead responsibilities are in addition to technical lab responsibilities and include, but are not limited to the following :

Please note that the below duties will be added in addition to current position and assigned responsibilities originally hired to.

Lead team, schedule, and train employees in client environment

Ensure adherence to highest quality and efficiency standards in laboratory operations

Ensure coverage and performance

Foster morale and teamwork

Sample pick up from Manufacturing and QC labs, sample aliquoting, preparation, and delivery to storage or testing location (includes sample logging in LabWare LIMS and Oracle)

Sample shipment coordination (completion of submission Forms and scheduling shipments)

Sample storage management including monthly inventory cleanup          

Provide feedback to client on the performance of existing assays / test methods

Basic lab organization and maintenance and excellent documentation skills
