Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Operating Room
Location: Norman, Oklahoma
Hours/Day: 10 hours (06:30 AM - 05:00 PM)
Salary Range: $27.84 - $45.46/hour (based on education and experience)
Shift and Weekend Differentials Available
Job Overview:
This position is responsible for planning, preparing, and providing individualized peri-operative care, using the nursing process to achieve the best patient outcomes. Nurses in this role are part of a dedicated surgical services team, working closely with other health professionals and utilizing critical thinking skills to make decisions and provide excellent care.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with other health professionals
Conduct patient assessments and analyze assessment data
Establish patient care goals, plan strategies, and prioritize care
Implement care plans and evaluate responses to interventions
Provide safe direct and indirect nursing care
Delegate tasks safely
Care for patients of all ages, from infants to geriatrics
Qualifications:
Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) Required
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) Preferred
Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) Preferred
Operating Room (OR) RN experience Required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Required
Active Oklahoma nursing license Required
