Job Title: Radiologic Technologist
Location: Lexington, Kentucky
Shift Type: Varied
Shift Times: 10-hour or 12-hour shifts (Friday and Saturday)
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load may result in overtime
Hourly Rate: $26.00 - $28.00
Shift Differential: $1.50/hour (minimum of 4 hours after 3 PM)
Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist will provide mobile X-ray and EKG services to various markets, including skilled nursing facilities, prison/jail settings, and home health environments. You will operate portable digital or computed radiography equipment, ensuring high-quality imaging for physician interpretation. This position involves travel between sites and maintaining equipment and accurate documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and submit/transmit them to a Radiologist for interpretation.
Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment into facilities to perform physician-ordered exams.
Ensure all X-ray images are clinically diagnostic and technically competent.
Conduct EKGs (as needed) and transmit the results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
Maintain accurate exam-related paperwork and submit billing documents daily.
Regularly communicate with dispatch, management, and clients in a professional manner.
Maintain vehicles and X-ray equipment to ensure proper function.
