Limited License: $25.65 - $35.21/hour | $50,017.50 - $68,659.50/year
Job Overview:
The Social Worker will maintain a caseload consisting of clients with primary mental health and/or co-occurring substance abuse diagnoses. This role involves conducting intake assessments, maintaining accurate case records, obtaining treatment authorizations, and delivering appropriate treatment services based on medical necessity. The therapist will collaborate with various professionals and coordinate client treatment plans using a person-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide clinical services including intake evaluations, individual, and group therapy for adults and families.
Assess and document client needs using Person-Centered Planning principles.
Collaborate with psychiatrists, physicians, school personnel, and other service providers.
Ensure compliance with contractual, licensure, and agency documentation requirements.
Attend clinical supervision, team meetings, and case consultations.
Complete 24 hours of training in the treatment of adults with mental health and co-occurring disorders.
Coordinate discharge planning and maintain professional ethics.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling Required
Corresponding State of Michigan licensure (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, or LLP) Required (or must obtain within 60 days of hire)
Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) credential within 120 days of hire Required
Minimum of one year of experience working with individuals diagnosed with mental illness (may include fieldwork or internship)
Strong written, verbal, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail
Additional Information:
Mileage reimbursement at IRS standard rates ($0.64/mile) for personal vehicle use.
