We are seeking a dynamic Director of Manufacturing to lead our production facility, ensuring the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and safety.

Position Overview:

The Director of Manufacturing will oversee all aspects of our production facility. This role involves strategic planning, team management, process optimization, and hands-on problem-solving to achieve exceptional performance and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will be a pivotal figure in driving our production capabilities forward, embracing innovative techniques, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. This role must bring energy and camaraderie to a fast-paced organization. Culture building & strong leadership skills are important to this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management: Lead, motivate, and develop a high-performing manufacturing team. Ensure a culture of accountability, excellence, and continuous learning.

Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement manufacturing strategies aligned with company goals. Plan and oversee the production schedule to meet customer demands and deadlines.

Process Improvement: Continually assess and optimize production processes for efficiency, quality, and scalability. Implement Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to minimize waste and maximize productivity.

Quality Control: Uphold the highest standards of quality for all screen printing outputs. Establish and monitor quality control systems to meet and exceed industry standards.

Equipment and Technology Management: Oversee the maintenance, upgrading, and expansion of production equipment and technology. Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in screen printing technology and techniques.

Safety and Compliance: Ensure a safe working environment by adhering to all health and safety regulations and best practices. Promote a culture of safety first across the production facility.

Cost Management: Manage production budgets and costs effectively, aiming for cost reduction while maintaining product quality and on-time delivery.

Analytics & Reporting: Increase operational efficiency through creating dynamic reports.

Warehouse Management & Inventory Control: Have a firm understanding of basic inventory controls and processes. This role will oversee an implementation of new technology into the business.

Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing leadership role, preferably in product customization or made-to-order manufacturing

Strong understanding of manufacturing technology, processes, and materials.

Demonstrated experience in process improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.

Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a diverse team.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to create and manage reports to make data-driven decisions

Proficiency in manufacturing software and Microsoft Office Suite, specifically excel.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Analytical and technology forward thinker. Tech does not scare you!

Mechanically proficient.

Not afraid to roll up your sleeves!
