Head of Manufacturing

Global Life Science Hub is recruiting on behalf of a leading global CDMO. This organization specializes in providing comprehensive development and manufacturing services, with a significant international presence.

As the Head of Manufacturing, you will play a pivotal role in leading and optimizing all manufacturing operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the production of high-quality products while adhering to regulatory standards and achieving business objectives. This position is ideal for an experienced Manufacturing Manager looking to advance to a leadership role.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all manufacturing operations, including production planning, quality control, and maintenance.

Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with business goals and drive operational excellence.

Ensure that all manufacturing processes comply with applicable regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, USDA, or industry-specific guidelines).

Lead efforts to improve production efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality.

Collaborate with R&D, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance teams to ensure seamless product development and manufacturing processes.

Manage and mentor a team of manufacturing professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.

Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve manufacturing performance.

Drive initiatives to upgrade manufacturing technologies and processes.

Develop and manage the manufacturing budget, ensuring cost-effective operations.

Ensure a safe working environment by enforcing health and safety regulations.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.

7+ years of experience in manufacturing management within regulated environments (e.g., food production, pharmaceuticals, agriculture, or similar industries).

Strong understanding of regulatory compliance and experience with audits from regulatory bodies.

Proven track record in managing large-scale manufacturing operations.

Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
