Overview:
Comprehensive Woman's Care, a division of Together Women’s Health (TWH) has an immediate opportunity for a Medical Courier to join their growing medical team. The Medical Courier will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of medical items.
The Medical Courier must have a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a reliable vehicle.
This position will require 2 runs per day: 8:00am and 4:00pm.
Lab specimens will be transported daily to the Clinton Township office.
Responsibilities:
How you’ll make an impact:
Pick up and deliver medical specimens, equipment, and confidential documents to various locations in a timely manner.
Ensure the proper handling and transport of medical items, blood specimens, urine samples and confidential documents
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including those related to HIPAA and confidentiality regulations.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Ensuring that medical items are securely stored in the delivery vehicle.
Ensuring the punctual collection and delivery of medical items from the healthcare facility.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work unsupervised with emphasis on punctuality.
Ability to lift at least 20 pounds.
Position is 10-12 hours per week.
Qualifications:
Talents you’ll bring to TWH:
Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
Reliable vehicle.
Previous courier experience preferred, especially in the medical field.
Able to handle sensitive and confidential information.
Flexibility to work various shifts.
