Overview:

Great Lakes Family Dental Group is hiring Ortho Dental Assistants!

Are you looking to supplement your schedule? Our offices in Saginaw and Almont need 2 days per month from an Ortho Assistant! 

The Orthodontic Assistant will provide clinical support to the orthodontist to facilitate the relationship between the patient and the dentists, increase the efficiency of delivering quality dental care and maintain communication between dentists, patient and administrative staff to insure a positive patient experience.  Requires local travel between locations.  

Responsibilities:

Greet and prepare patients for treatment

Chairside assisting

Taking intra and extra oral photographs

Proper impression techniques for a variety of orthodontic appliances

Laboratory work

Provide post operative instructions and patient education

Prepare, breakdown, disinfect and sterilize treatment rooms and instruments

Maintain strict compliance to infection control, CDC, OSHA and HIPPA

Maintain orthodontic supply inventory

Perform other related job duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and terminology

C.O.A. preferred

Strong verbal skills

Possess required certifications, licensure or registration as required by state

Embrace a positive team approach to patient care
