Responsibilities:

The Production Planner is responsible for scheduling and coordinating the manufacturing process to ensure efficient production, timely delivery, and optimal resource utilization. They work closely with various departments to balance supply and demand, monitor production progress, and adjust schedules to address any delays or changes in priorities.

Develop and maintain production schedules to ensure timely delivery of products.

Coordinate with various departments, such as procurement, manufacturing, and quality control, to ensure smooth workflow.

Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as necessary to meet deadlines or address delays.

Analyze production data to forecast material and resource requirements.

Optimize resource allocation to improve efficiency and reduce waste.

Manage inventory levels to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Collaborate with suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of raw materials.

Implement and improve production planning processes and systems.

Communicate production schedules and priorities to the production team.

Identify and resolve any issues that may affect production timelines or quality.

Qualifications:

Other requirements include:

A college degree in supply chain, operations, business or relevant program (preferred). Will consider work experience in lieu of degree.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Excellent time management and organizational skills

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Ability to problem solve and think critically
