Responsibilities:

As an Inventory Control Specialist with Hamilton, you will help us deliver positive innovations by managing and executing activities that maintain inventory integrity. Specifically, you will conduct cycle count and bin audit activities, reconciliation, root cause analysis and reporting. A successful Inventory Control Specialist will bring a detail-oriented mindset to increase inventory accuracy and provide real-time insights.

This position reports to our Supply Inventory Manager  on the Hamilton Storage Inventory Management Team. This is a full-time onsite role at our facility in Franklin, MA.

Essential Functions

Execute cycle counts/bin audits, including ad hoc requests, report results, and reconcile discrepancies.

Reconcile inventory discrepancies from Material Shortage Report and any other discrepancies found during Production.

Perform root cause analysis to determine underlying inventory issues.

Identify potential risks to inventory accuracy and propose solutions to mitigate those risks.

Systematically process internal inventory requests and ensure physical material is handled properly.

Process nonconforming material, including dispositioning physical material.

All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Required

Excellent communication skills (verbal, listening, and written), including the ability to interface effectively across teams and with leaders.

Advanced knowledge of inventory control and cycle count/bin audit processes.

Knowledge of general warehouse procedures.

Ability to capture cycle count/bin audit inventory accuracy.

Knowledge of Material Resource Planning (MRP) systems and/or ability to learn an MRP system quickly.

Ability to work cross functionally.

Education/Experience:

Required

High school diploma or equivalent.

Minimum of 2 years of related experience in a similar environment.

Preferred

5 years of related work experience.
