What you’ll do as a Quality Control Technician
Coordinate jobs with outside services, such as subcontractors, and management
Organize equipment, material and labor to complete project in a timely manner
Call in or email locates as needed
Verify accuracy of locates, materials
Flag projects, determine running lines off permits
Look into permit for any special instructions and make sure crew/sub knows
Maintain quality control reports
Update schedule and Field Supervisor on a daily basis
Support Supervisors and Foremen to monitor and enforce all company and outside required safety policies and procedures
Monitor and complete the necessary paperwork regarding employee accidents and injuries, in conjunction with Safety
Maintain and properly document DOT paperwork
Manage materials using a spreadsheet
All other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Previous telecommunications work experience, experience running crews is preferred
Exceptional organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills and problem solving skills
Must have knowledge of quality processes and be familiar with a variety of safety programs
Must be proficient with Google Suite, database software and Microsoft Office Suite
Comfortable working independently as well as on a team with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization and customers
A valid driver’s license with a good driving record is required
Class A CDL is a plus (Higher wage scales apply to CDL holders)
Regular out-of-town travel as required
