Overview:
Afternoon shift position (1pm - 9:30pm)
Salary - $68,000-$80,000
The successful applicant for this opportunity is highly motivated and results oriented. You will provide leadership through effective communication, coaching/ training and direct resources, to achieve desired objectives. The expectation for every employee of this facility is to work cooperatively as part of the team to produce safe, high quality food products, efficiently and effectively.
Key Ingredients:
Supervise and coordinate employees related to production, including processing of materials, manufacturing product with the ability to meet or exceed quality standards
Provide leadership through effective communication, coaching/ training and direct resources, to achieve desired objectives.
Promoting and ensuring the health and safety of the team
Deliver and report against Health and Safety, Quality, On Time Delivery, and Standard Cost KPI’s
Ensure that food safety, GMP's and quality standards are met, and that standard operating procedures are followed.
You will schedule and ensure the correct allocation of resources to achieve production standards and meet cost targets, thereby striving to meet and exceed customer service levels.
You will use your analytical skills to identify, justify and implement continuous improvement opportunities and provide accurate and timely reporting of production metrics.
You will build / reinforce a teamwork environment among your direct reports and your coworkers.

Recipe for Success:
A diploma or degree in food science, engineering, business or other related field,
3-5 years experience in a food manufacturing environment or line processing manufacturing environment
Previous supervision experience
Preference will be given to those with, Green Belt certification, TPM or Lean Six Sigma, HACCP, CFIA and SQF policies/requirements
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal and written)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with others
Strong MS Office (Excel and Word), along with math skills, experience in SAP would be considered an asset
Candidates must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be able to pass background check and drug test. Madrona Specialty Foods participates in the E-Verify program
