Opportunity Snapshot:

Compensation: $90-120.00/hour

Location: Quintana, TX

Assignment Duration: 12 months+

Work Schedule: 9/80, onsite, no hybrid

Responsibilities:

Provide leadership to the multi-disciplinary engineering efforts for capital projects, collaborating closely with Project Managers, Operations, Maintenance, Procurement, and OH&S teams

Provide technical expertise and guidance throughout the project lifecycle, from concept development through detailed design, construction, and start-up

Oversee the development and review of engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company specifications

Coordinate with external engineering firms, consultants, and vendors to support project objectives and ensure quality and timely deliverables

Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes, methodologies, and technologies to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness

Conduct thorough technical reviews and risk assessments to identify potential challenges and develop mitigation strategies

Develop and implement engineering execution plans, resource allocation strategies, and project schedules

Facilitate clear and effective communication between engineering disciplines, project teams, and stakeholders to ensure alignment and resolution of technical issues

Participate in strategic decision-making processes, providing technical insights and recommendations to support project objectives and organizational goals

Qualifications:

Minimum of 10 years' experience in engineering roles, with a focus on capital projects in the oil & gas, refinery, or industrial sectors

Strong technical expertise in engineering design, analysis, and project execution, with knowledge of industry best practices and standards

Experience with LNG projects and familiarity with FERC and PHMSA regulations are a positive

Project Engineering experience with capital projects and / or turnaround work in an operating facility

Prior EPC experience working in a construction environment, particularly in roles such as Technical Service Manager, Discipline Lead, Foreman, or Supervisor, is a plus

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical Engineer)
