Overview:
The Payroll Analyst is responsible in assisting in paperwork tasks related to the actual efficient maintenance as well as processing of company preliminary and final payroll reports, timesheets, spreadsheets, and funds distribution, assuring compliance with district and county policies, state and federal regulation, etc.; responds to inquiries and/or requests for data and/or reports; provides timely and accurate payroll production; provides certified payroll reports for all projects on weekly basis. Responsibilities:
How You Will Make a Difference
Essential Function – 100%
Manage employee time sheets
Experienced in Union Payroll
Manage and maintain time sheet filing.
Create, manage, and perform the weekly processing of payroll to ensure that employees are paid with proper wage rates, withholdings are taken, and programs are paid accurately and in a timely manner.
Research prevailing wage rates for each job depending on funding source, state, county, and locality.
Working Closely with Project Management team for Certified Payrolls
Manage job wage information.
Assist with weekly employee time sheets.
Manage Employees Retirement accounts 401K, Roth
Help with managing yearly reportsW2’s for each employee in each state worked
Qualifications:
What You Need to Bring
Minimum qualifications
Proven experience as a Payroll Analyst, Payroll Coordinator, or similar role with 3+ years of experience
Deep knowledge of state and federal payroll and tax regulations
Hands-on experience with payroll software
Familiarity using Excel and spreadsheets
Excellent analytical skills
The ability to work under tight deadlines
Computer knowledgeable including Viewpoint and Internet applications.
Ability to read, write, speak, and type effectively.
Proficient in English. Other languages helpful
Strong math is required.
Education
High School Diploma Required
BSc in Human Resources Management, Accounting, or relevant field Administrative experience preferred.
Salary range: *$55,200 - $69,700 per year
*This base salary range is used nationally. The rate offered is compliant with federal/local regulations and may vary by experience, certification/education, skillset, market conditions, location, etc.
