Line Cook is a part or full-time, year-round position at Boyne Mountain Resort. The primary focus of a line cook is to prepare food, help the kitchen workers in the preparation of food items and set up allocated stations for menu, as instructed by Chef and compliant with Boyne Mountain standards.

Responsibilities:
The Line Cook's typical job functions include:
Preparing food according to food handling guidelines, recipes, and cooking procedures, in a timely manner
Stocking and maintaining sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period
Communicating and coordinating production with other cooks, wait staff and members of the food and beverage team
Observing and testing foods being cooked to ensure they meet Boyne Mountain standards of quality
Maintaining consistency of menu in taste, presentation and production time
Qualifications:
This position may for you if:
You are 18 years old
You are available to work days, evenings, weekends and holidays
You have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and/or training preferred
You possess ServSafe certification or acquire it upon hire
You are able to lift up to 25 pounds and stand on feet for long periods of time
You are interested in growing your culinary skills
