Position Summary:
ITT Control Technologies business unit is searching for an HR Director to partner with the Control Technologies Leadership Team. This individual will be the primary strategic HR Business Partner for the Control Technologies business unit. The position has dual reporting into the CCT VP, HR and VP Control Technologies and is located in Orchard Park, NY.
Responsibilities include the development and tactical execution of the HR Strategy in support of delivering business strategic plans and enterprise initiatives. Proactively consults with clients and recommends HR strategic solutions to improve critical business outcomes – acts as a change agent.
Essential Responsibilities:
As an integral thought partner to the business Leadership team develop strategic HR plans in support of the business strategy and overall enterprise initiatives
Implementation of talent and DEI strategy to grow the talent pipeline and ensure the organization has the right talent at the right time to deliver results.
Strong focus in building and developing next GEN talent pipeline across the business.
Provide coaching, guidance, and training to build leadership capabilities of the leadership team, including succession planning.
Ensure tactical execution of strategic plans.
Leverage your influencing skills to drive results in a fast paced, matrix and complex environment.
Leverage your OD expertise to shape the culture, drive organizational growth, team effectiveness, change management, and leadership development.
Leverage your analytical and critical thinking skills to develop solutions to business and people issues.
Partner with COEs to support enterprise people priorities and initiatives.
Advises managers on complez employee relations issues (e.g., discipline, coaching, performance management)
Position Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
12+ years of relevant progressive experience in Human Resources
Minimum of 7 years of people management
Strong knowledge of laws and regulations
Demonstrated ability to effectively influence, lead and transform
Understanding of key business and financial drivers and demonstrated strong delivery of HR results
Multi-functional experience working in a matrix environment, supporting multiple functional groups and working across multiple employee populations required;
Ability to travel (30% of time)
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in Industrial business
Advanced degree in Human Resources
Global experience
Experience in M&A integration
